          The Systems Engineer is a key technical leader within a dynamic, interdisciplinary team. He/she is central to the understanding and continuous improvement of a highly, complex operational system of people, processes, technology and information necessary to eliminate preventable harm and improve patient outcomes. The Systems Engineer provides a deep, data-driven understanding of the risks and opportunities within the system through rigorous data analysis and interpretation.  He/she drives performance improvement through the disciplined application of systems engineering methodology.

          Qualifications:

          • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, physical sciences, applied mathematics, computer or science, or a related field; master’s or PhD preferred.

          • Highly skilled in data analysis tools including SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and other data visualization and analysis tools.

          • 5-10 years of relevant experience; less will be considered with strong academic credentials.

          • Additional training in systems engineering, data analysis, quality assurance, technical management, and process improvement preferred.

          • INCOSE or other systems engineering/computer science related certifications preferred.
